Devastation Strikes Haiti
Yesterdays 7.0 magnitude tremor left behind devastation, mass destruction and death. Destroyed communications makes it impossible to estimate the death toll, but peace keepers know it’s astronomically high.
As news reporters show and tell stories of bodies lying in the streets…people covered in debris holding hands …. others screaming for help from toppled buildings…I can’t even comprehend what they are going through at this very moment.
Imagine…being a parent and not being able to find your child? Or, if by the grace of God you’re family is safe…there’s nowhere for your child to rest his head. Or if your child says he’s thirsty or hungery…there’s no access to water…nor food.
